Numeracy

For numeracy this week or task was problem solving and area and perimeter snake it was fun and we where put into groups the groups where mixed maths groups so there were not so good people and some good people that was the fun part because you got to help and learn from people from other groups I found this fun and hard because I had to think about it for at lest 3 minutes.

This week for my literacy we have been doing mummies summary and I thought that it was fun and a bit hard because I did not know about mummies. This is my one we did it in a group I found it fun because we got to choose or buddies.

T3W7 Writing Reflection

Writing

For writing I had to fix up or household machine I don't know many household machines so I did a rubbish bin which is a pedal bin. I found this hard because I did not know much household machines. This was a fun task but it was a big task this is my intro.

HOUSEHOLD MACHINE: Pedal bin

Intro: A pedal rubbish bin is a bin with a pedal that you push down with your foot also It looks like a steel bin with a little foot pedal and a lid. It is used for storing rubbish and keeping rubbish in it so the place is less smelly. How it work it works by you pushing the lever which opens the lid which allows you to put the rubbish in it that's how the parts work then there is more about the parts in  the other paragraphs. You have to know how to open and close it. You need to have a space to put it and make it fit perfectly.You use it by pushing the pedal then put the rubbish in

You have it for a while with rubbish in it it will stink really bad but it is harder to put rubbish in if you are in a wheelchair. The best part is the pedal. The next part is a  lid for the stinky rubbish smell not to stink out your kitchen or your house that would be a horrifying stench.

Did you know that a pedal rubbish bin only comes in a circle and other rubbish bins are square and circle.

T3W7 Reading reflection

For reading my group had to do read a book then had to do a burger thing and that was our follow up for this week I found it quite easy because it wasn't that bigger task that's why it was easy and this is my one.

This week for language I had to do a visual mihi and Screencastify it so that you didn't have to read it and this is my mihi. I found this hard because I hardly know Maori.

This is a book about making and reading about jokes and the history of jokes and why laughing is good for you. Most kings kept jesters in there kingdom they dressed in bright color coats the jesters hood was sometimes made to look like a donkeys head or a roosters head. The author is Sharon Holt and the pictures are by Ross Kinnaird. The genre is funny. I would give this book a rating of ten 9 because they told you about how jokes help you laugh which is good for you and it tells you the history about jokes which has really good information about jokes in the old day. this book is Recommended for people that like jokes and like laughing.

For numeracy this week my maths group was finishing our fractions and I found this quite hard because I didn't know what decomposing fractions meant until I watched the video 2 times and played the game 2 times. then I had to do some more what was harder than the last one and there was this site call maths hub.
