Literacy Reflection T4W6

This week for literacy since there was a earthquake we did a earthquake recount it was a massive earthquake and we had to use speech marks. Here is my literacy recount I found it fun because I like doing recounts.

For writing this week we did an explanation story I found this fun because it was a special place for my family which for my family is Christchurch I found this hard as well because I hardly know why it's my family's favorite place. Here it is.

T3W7 Writing Reflection

Writing

For writing I had to fix up or household machine I don't know many household machines so I did a rubbish bin which is a pedal bin. I found this hard because I did not know much household machines. This was a fun task but it was a big task this is my intro.

HOUSEHOLD MACHINE: Pedal bin

Intro: A pedal rubbish bin is a bin with a pedal that you push down with your foot also It looks like a steel bin with a little foot pedal and a lid. It is used for storing rubbish and keeping rubbish in it so the place is less smelly. How it work it works by you pushing the lever which opens the lid which allows you to put the rubbish in it that's how the parts work then there is more about the parts in  the other paragraphs. You have to know how to open and close it. You need to have a space to put it and make it fit perfectly.You use it by pushing the pedal then put the rubbish in

You have it for a while with rubbish in it it will stink really bad but it is harder to put rubbish in if you are in a wheelchair. The best part is the pedal. The next part is a  lid for the stinky rubbish smell not to stink out your kitchen or your house that would be a horrifying stench.

Did you know that a pedal rubbish bin only comes in a circle and other rubbish bins are square and circle.

Week 7 Reflection

Writing

For writing we had to show not tell and I found this quite hard because I couldn't think of what to do and I learnt how to show not tell.

Numarecy

For numeracy I had to do a screen Castify with one of the decimal match up games. I found this hard but not that hard.

Word work

For word work I had to do sentences with my words in it. I found this easy.

Reading

For reading this week I had to change words into different words. I found this hard.

The drift wood is like shagged glass as its floating up to land.My owner chucks a stick for me i get it and take it back to him. He chucks it again and it goes into the sea i get it and take it back to him. I go and find another stick because he lost it. The sea is like a flat bit of paper. The sharp stones dig into my paws as i ran for the other stick.

One night I heard something. It was a little

happy girl and she had seen the bird that I

caught from the farm. I ran for my life. She

came after me as she called out “Hey you

little fox get back here”. I keeped running.

She got closer and closer. She caught me.
